Cooling water hose

VETUS offers two type of cooling water hoses:

Type MWHOSE, for all cooling fluids

Type MWHOSE is made of EPDM rubber with synthetic fabric and spiraled steel reinforcement. The hose is suitable for cooling water, both suction and pressure (max. 2.5 bar), salt and fresh water. It is temperature-resistant between -30° and +120°C.

Unlike lower-quality unreinforced hoses, MWHOSE will not kink or fold shut, thereby preventing a major cause of low seawater flow to the engine cooling system and consequent damage to the impeller and the exhaust system. Similar benefits accrue from the use of this hose for cockpit drains and other critical water connections.

Type CCHOSE, hose for fluids in closed heating / cooling systems

Type CCHOSE is made of EPDM rubber with an inlay of woven reinforcement fabric. Suitable for fluids in closed heating and/or cooling systems. When used with
air-conditioning units, an insulating sleeve (made of a combination of polythene and rubber with a closed cell structure) is required. Temperature-resistant between
37° and 176°F (+3º and 80ºC).
