Shaft anode, zinc, collar, 1¼ inch provides sacrificial corrosion protection on a propeller shaft. Its collar configuration is intended for shaft mounting.
Description
This zinc anode fits around the propeller shaft and is consumed in preference to connected underwater metal. V-Quipment advises against using shaft anodes on high-speed vessels, as they can create turbulence and imbalance as they wear.
